In Food Processing Technology and Automobile Engineering one full semester is devoted to industrial project training where student has to work full-time in a selected industry.

Eligibility for admission to the courses is Higher Secondary School Examination passed (12th standard) with English, Mathematics and Science subjects. Admission is granted on the basis of merit as per the norms of Gujarat State Board Examination. The institute follows Credit-based system of studies, as per the regulations of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology of Sardar Patel University.
